Games For Holiday

I woke up so early this morning and helped my dad in making onde, a kind of meatball-like food made from flour. Onde is usually served during Indonesian Mother’s Day, which is on 22nd December. Yes, it’s supposed to be tomorrow, but for some reason we serve them today. Actually I didn’t help much, because I only made four. I did it by shaping coloured flour into my family’s Chinese zodiac :P. It took quite a while to make one as I had to carve its face, but it’s fun!

Oh yes, something good happened last Monday—I finally downloaded Harvest Moon game on my PC! Previously I had been wondering, “How difficult it is to find its file on the web…” I used to reckon that the suitable version of such game is required if we want to play it on PC. I just knew it from Wilson that day; we need to have a suitable program to play the game. When I opened it for the first time, it turned out that VBA (the name of that program) enables us to access GBA games. This is a good news to me and my sister—at least we have some entertainment for this holiday ;).

By the way, yesterday was our report day. I’m really grateful to achieve the first rank for this semester :D. Hope all of us can get better grades on the coming semester!

Goodbye, Exams!

As you see from the title, the reason to my hiatus back then is very obvious—exams. Since I failed to write about my practical exams regularly, and yet the theoretical, I’m “paying the price” now :P.

The best moment I experienced with my classmates in the practical exams is during the SBK exam. My group’s dancing properties didn’t work well—most of them were broken during our last practice, so we finally perform without using it. Andhyka’s group, which consists of Eric, Kenny, Ananta, Adrian and himself, performed very well. They did a stunning modern dance accompanied by a K-pop song. I think Andhyka was the one who chose the song; just like my old friend Angela, he’s a fan of Korean stuffs. Different from my group, they had costumes instead of properties. Among all members, Eric was the one who totally amazed the whole audience! We still had some spare time after the exam, so the whole 9B—I don’t know who first suggested this—danced to Gangnam Style song. Well it’s just for fun :P… Eric and Kenny were the best at it. They perfectly amused the whole room, including Bu Paksi :D. She even took a video of us!

The theoretical exams ended by last Thursday. To me, the hardest test was PKn (Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan, a subject about nationality). But surprisingly and luckily, I got the highest score at it o.o! To be honest, I never expect this to happen until I saw it with my own eyes this morning. We’re supposed to come today for the remedial tests. So since I passed in every subject, I did nothing today aside from helping my friends in making the class wall magazine for December :P.
